Your contributions directly support activities that help inspire and empower students and the broader school community to protect the environment. By donating, you will be helping to:
- Provide school children with fun, hands-on environmental education using positive reinforcement. Our Trash Free Lunches program uses hand stamps to rewards students who bring lunches that don’t generate trash, compost, and recycle.
- Raise environmental awareness and inspire the broader school community to care for the environment. Our R3 Education program provides classroom ready scripts to parents or other volunteers that teach students the benefits of things like composting and protecting our valuable water sources.
- Ensure an environmentally healthy and sustainable school environment. Removing toxic chemicals from classrooms not only decreases absences, it increases test scores and improves students’ health.
- Restore, protect and care for the Earth to ensure the future prosperity of the planet for this generation and generations to come. Our Trash Free Lunches program has proven to reduce trash by over 90% not only teaching students the valuable lesson of reducing and reusing, but also saving the school money on waste hauler pick-ups.
- Offer schools the opportunity to save money through these green initiatives. Grades of Green shows schools how to save literally hundreds of thousands of dollars by reducing electricity, water, paper, trash and chemicals.
